On 27^th November 2009, IAT Campus was be delighted to witness its first batch of students conferred bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Technology Management (BICTM) which we offer in collaboration with Maseno University's Department of Computer Science. The graduation ceremony took place at Maseno University graduation square and included high level representation from IAT. We are pleased to have a total of 10 graduands among whom there are two first class honours and eight second class honours, upper division. BICTM is a degree program developed by IAT after extensive consultations with key industry players in various sectors of the economy. It is therefore a rich program for the industry by the industry. The program is approved by the Maseno University senate and adopted as a program in the University's Department of Computer Science.

IAT's mission is to produce productive graduates and industry leaders who are able to hit the road running right from day one at the work place. Students who go through this program are adequately equipped with practical knowledge which is relevant to the industry enabling them to add business value to the organizations they work for. The program offers three areas of concentration i.e. Infrastructure Management, Software Engineering and ICT Consultancy. At the end of the program students will have specialised skills in an area of their choice. Some of the specialised skills students will acquire include but not limited to; Networks management, Systems administration, Database Management Systems, Programming, Web Design, ICT consultancy, IS leadership, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Change Management, e-commerce and quality management systems.

Already we have very positive feedback from the various organizations our students work for regarding their productivity and leadership particularly with regard to above mentioned fields.

We would like to once again congratulate all the graduands for their hard work, dedication and endurance during their period of study. Being pioneers we must say it was not smooth and we congratulate them for the exceptional performance. We are very proud of you all and may the Almighty GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
