Background The IAT School of Business - Kenya, (ISB) a subsidiary of the Institute of Advanced Technology Campus was founded in the year 2007. The IAT Campus was already offering Business programs and so in 2007 the School of Business was set up so as to concentrate and develop more market driven programmes whose demand had grown immensely while the IAT Campus concentrated on ICT. In this regard the school is already working with bodies such as the European Business Competence Licence to offer necessary skills to people from non-accounting backgrounds to acquire Business competence. Vision To be regarded as a world-class business school providing educational solutions for business & entrepreneurial excellence. Mission Nurture business and entrepreneurial excellence by providing high impact and value education and through continuous improvement in programs design and delivery that meet and exceed the needs of our customers and enquirers and enhance economic and social well-being of our stake holders. Target Group - ISB targets career entry students looking for recognized skills in business and entrepreneurship.

COLLABORATION The IAT Campus offers degree and diploma programmes in collaboration with Kenyan and international Universities and education providers. IAT is in collaboration with Maseno University and St. Paul?s University as well as the NCC Education, UK to offer top of range ICT and Business degree and diploma courses. With an ever increasing number of High school leavers missing out on placement to university course in Kenya, initiatives such as these joint collaborations are very important in increasing access to quality higher education opportunity for Kenya young people as well as opening up continuing education opportunities. It is important to ensure that initiatives focus on the quality of education offered as well as the quality of graduates produced.
