The Diploma in Business Information & Communication Technology (DBICT) is a Diploma program developed by the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT). The program is approved by IAT?s academic board and offered at IAT?s learning Centers.
The Diploma in Business Information & Communication Technology (DBICT) combines the essential aspects of Information & Communication Technology (covering areas such as IT applications, programming, technical support, networking, and web design. etc.) with the key facets of Business fundamentals (covering areas such Business Communication and organization, business accounts, entrepreneurship, business law, etc) with a view to producing diploma holders with technical proficiency and business acumen.
This combination of skills and knowledge will prepare the diploma holders to fit productively in formal or self-employment. Successful students may also join relevant degree courses with exemptions.
DBICT equips you with: - - Equip students with skills necessary to use ICT proficiently in day-to-day business.

- Produce competent, confident and well rounded students capable of formal employment in the ICT industry, research Institutions or any other relevant private and public sectors
- Produce competent, confident and well rounded students capable of self employment in the ICT industry & Business
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - C- in KCSE with C ? or above in English and Math or
- Credit pass in stage 1 (CBICT) or
- Work experience for a period not less than one year
- Any other qualification approved by IAT academic board.
DURATION 11 Months

On successful completion of Semester 1, you receive a Certificate awarded by IAT; you also qualify for the ICDL (International Computer Driving License) certificate.
