Linux Essentials - Setup Agent
- Using the Graphical Desktop
- Printer Configuration and working with Documents and Images
- Shell Prompt Basics
- Installing and Updating Red Hat Linux Packages
- KDE: The K Desktop Environment
Linux Administration - Troubleshooting Red Hat Installation
- Creating users and groups using GUI and command line.
- Remote management & NIS-related domain management
- Create, modify, and use basic shell scripts
- Manage print jobs and print/mail queues
- Repair packages and scripts
- Schedule jobs to execute in the future using "at" and "cron" daemons
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Individuals who wish to acquire skills on both desktop and network management using Linux.
PRE-REQUISITE USP and NSS or equivalent knowledge OR basic programming skills.
DURATION: - 3 weeks, 4 hours per day, or
- 6 weeks, 2 hours per day
CERTIFICATION: IAT Certificate of Competence upon successful completion of the course.
