An intensive study program which prepares students to pursue various courses at degree or diploma levels but their English Language grades do not meet the minimum entry requirements for these courses.

OBJECTIVES

1. Upgrade secondary school leavers' competence in English in order to attain the entry qualifications for various courses in tertiary institutions.

2. Equip students with skills to critically analyze literary works.

3. Equip students with the competence and confidence to communicate fluently and efficiently in English.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The course is open to: -

1. Persons who have met the minimum entry requirements for a degree or diploma program but have not achieved the minimum entry requirements.

2. Any other person who wishes to improve their competence in the use of English language.

COURSE STRUCTURE

1. Duration: 3 Months (1 Semester)

2. Training Hours: 140 Hours

3. Assessment: Certificate awarded by IAT
