 International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL)
 The International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) is an international qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in use of computer applications.

Overview

The International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) is an international qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in use of computer applications.

The ICDL is the most widely recognised computer qualification in the world. More than 3 million people in over 100 countries have acquired the qualification.To date over 12,500 IAT students have achieved ICDL certification. No other training institution in Africa comes close!

ICDL PART1

1. Microsoft Windows

2. Microsoft Word

3. Information and Communication

4. Microsoft PowerPoint

DURATION:

60 hours.

CERTIFICATION:

An IAT certificate of competence will be issued to successful candidates for part 1.

ICDL PART2

1. Microsoft Excel

2. Microsoft Access

3. Concepts of Information Technology (CIT)

DURATION:

70 hours.

CERTIFICATION:

An IAT certificate of competence will be issued to successful candidates for part 2.

FINAL ICDL CERTIFICATION:

Participants successful in all seven (7) ICDL examinations will be awarded the International Computer Driving License certificate from the ICDL Foundation.

To help you fully prepare for the ICDL certification, our courses include Primer Tests that reinforce the information learnt and familiarize you with the type of questions that you will have to answer in your exams.

POINTS TO NOTE

1. A logbook shall become invalid should you change or deface any part of the information that it contains. The IAT Test Center shall not accept an invalid logbook and will notify the certifying body to cancel the log book's number. The candidate shall be required to purchase a new logbook and re-take any exams already done at an extra cost.

2. ICDL exam modules MUST be completed within three years from the first time an examination is taken.

3. Loss of a logbook MUST immediately be reported to the IAT Test Center so as to notify the certifying body to cancel the lost logbook's number. The candidate shall purchase a new logbook.

4. Candidates who have completed ICDL Part 1 examinations must submit their logbooks to the IAT Test Center for stamping, on Mondays, any time between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

5. Stamped logbooks may be collected on Thursday, same week, any time between 9:00 AM and 6:00PM.

6. Candidates who have completed ICDL Part 2 examinations must submit their log book along with a copy to the IAT Test Center.
